Appearance: Mei-Hua wears a white, knee-length, pleated skirt with her Knite "uniform", and black flat shoes like Sen's and the other Knites. She has wavy brown hair with a peony flower pinned on her right ear. Her hazel eyes are slowly changing to gray because of her illness, but this doesn't stop her from going out at night. She also wears gloves to protect her hands from the string of the kite.
Her Story: As her sight is continually being damaged by the pollution in the air, Mei-Hua can only stay outside for a limited amount of time. She sets up one kite every night, and plays her violin as she watches the different colored stars. She hopes that one day, Sen will hear her song and that will allow her a chance to see (and thank) him before her sight is lost forever.
