Kurohiko’s Art Summary 2013

I wanted to do this meme every year, and at the same time, I also wanted to make a new Facebook banner for my artist’s page. I somehow came up with this design, but I’m pretty sure I saw it somewhere before…

Anyway, from the look of things, some months were more productive than others. Some were also so busy with manga work that I was not able to color any illustrations at all! Which is a good thing in my book! I really hope I will have even more manga projects in 2014! Not so much that I won’t be sleeping anymore, but at least enough to make me want to do this full time!

Has anyone else here made an Art Summary yet? ☆* o(≧▽≦)o *☆

Oh No! Manga Cosplay Camp 2: The Coin & Flour Saga

Just wanted to post the official announcement! There will be a lot of prizes for the drawing and coloring competition, including copic markers and some last minute prizes from our friends in artline!

I will be a lurking photographer there, and for the indie island, I will be bring limited copies of these:

Since we didn’t have time to print additional copies of Studio 4 Eyes, we’ll be bringing whatever copies we have left from the previous conventions, haha! WE’re not sure how many there are left, but it’s probably about 20? As for Oha-Oha, I think I have about a handful left.

First come first serve at the first island, tables 5-8! See you at the convention!

NBS Free Comic Book Day Aftermath

One more convention has come and gone, but I’m sad to say, this was not one of the better ones out there. Not only was the venue hot, but our Studio 4 Eyes’ sales were much lower that I expected. It’s too bad, since we premiered our Oha-Oha! Anthology and were giving it out for free.

Nevertheless, there was an epic moment when two customers decided to buy every single book we had on display! And another tear-jerking moment for me when someone was looking for copies of the 2nd part of Karma from Oh No! Manga. Too bad we no longer had copies on hand, but hopefully, he’ll like Studio 4 Eyes!
