Soraille did a quick sketch on Twitter today... I managed to snatch a slot and got a tiny bunny Fuu-chan!! He's so, so, SO CUTE. I'M DYING FROM CUTE-!!
And in return, she asked for Miyabi from Holostars. I haven't drawn in pencil for so long, this just looks messy to me. (･o･;) I keep looking for the ctrl+Z keys, but they don't have it IRL.
This turned out really cute though... I kinda wanna finish it digitally. Maybe after I finish my current commissions and WIPs...
Since it’s the last day of that art meme, I decided to post some of the stuff that I’ve been working on… As far as I know, these books are not yet available for purchase, so these would be exclusive sneak peeks!
KARMA: Chapter 3 – Epilogue is going to be published under Oh No! Manga. This panel is probably one of the highlights of the chapter, but it’s not the main plot..? So I guess it’s something to look forward to without giving too much away.
WISH*GRANTED is published in GOLD Manga #3 under PSICOM. It debuted last February 14 at the “Love at First Write” event, but I haven’t seen the book in stores yet. Hopefully it will be out very soon. I think I might be in love with King.
My FBBF (Manga) #2 will be published in GOLD Best #2 under PSICOM. We’re still working on the pages, but I thought Luke looked so adorable in this panel even though it’s not yet finished… also something to look forward to, I hope?

Recently, I’ve been studying how people draw and color eyes since I’ve received a comment saying the way I draw mine lack life. (*￣m￣)
So here are two options: #1 has a gradient shading in the white part of the eye, while #2 is more solid and defined. I know it doesn’t look very different, but I still can’t decide among the two. (◎_◎;)

Since we were working on Crystal Shadows until the very last minute, I had to squeeze drawing panels in between personal and business matters. (;*△*;) Even though I’ve already switched to digital in order to save on paper, some of the pages featured in Studio 4 Eyes Volume 3 had to be sketched on paper so that I can ink them later on my PC.
I sometimes write the dialogues on the panels during sketches to make sure they fit where they should. This particular panel of Dylan came out pretty nicely, but I think I was feeling a little hostile that day. ( ≧Д≦) Dylan is a nice guy, and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t swear. I don’t really remember why I wrote that there, oh well, I thought you guys would appreciate this anyway. (シ_ _)シ

I don’t know why people call me that, lol! (・_・ヾ I mean, I feel like I can’t consider myself to be a professional so long as my time management skills are not up to my standards.

Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I go back to basics and doodle something in traditional form. You just can’t beat the feel of an actual paper-and-pencil sketch! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ It relaxes me and reminds me why I choose this line of work from all else.
Harukanaru Toki no Naka de – Yasuaki, Minamoto no Yorihisa, and Shikigami
I had references from the manga in drawing Yasuaki and his Shikigami, but as for Yorihisa, there were a lot of leaves in his space, so I sketched his pose before looking through a few panels for his hairstyle and clothing. o(≧ε≦o) You could say this is my favorite character ranking? I like Yasuaki a lot, but Yorihisa and Shikigami are both in 2nd place. Shikigami only appeared in volume 17, but I really like his design and personality! And the fact that he can turn into a white fox is a plus too! (*´▽｀*)
I really like how the mangaka draws eyes and hair in this series, so I’m studying them by redrawing the characters in my planner. I hope I can finish all seven soon so I can scan it properly! But for now, this will have to do! ヾ(｡･ω･｡)
I’ve decided to try and go full-digital for KARMA: Chapter 3 part 2 after I installed Manga Studio 5 on my PC. I love how natural the G-pen feels, even though I’m using an ordinary wacom pen tablet! （*＾3＾）/～☆ I’m worried how it will actually look once it’s printed on paper, but it’s too late to back out now!
My pace is a little slower though, since this does take some getting used to. Also, I bought a new monitor since my old CRT one went kapoot! Even though going from CRT to LED is a huge improvement in itself, I’m not used to how clear everything looks on screen! ヾ(´A｀)ノﾟ
In any case, Dominic looked so lovely in this panel that I had to share it with you guys. He looks different compared to Chapter 3 part 1, but I think he looks nummier here anyway~ (๑・ω-)～♥”
I got inspired by a butterfly today, and then this happened!
I’m thinking of giving her an earring or an arm cuff(?) similar to Kirito’s, but I don’t want to swirly detail to become overbearing.
I should be concentrating on my other commissions too… *frets~*
Still drawing, despite my flu. I think I may have coughed my lungs out, excuse me while I go and pick them up.
There’s way too much stuff to finish this week. I’m tempted to just curl up in a little ball and just pretend they don’t exist. One day at a time… one day at a time…
She might not be afraid, but I sure am. I still have a ton of commissions to finish and I have a new one-shot manga to do!

No, no, I didn’t! (*≧m≦*) And this inked, sneak peek panel for Crystal Shadows proves it! I’m a little side-tracked, sure, but I’m still planning to release the next installment of Crystal Shadows in the Summer Komikon this 13th of April 2013!
That would all depend if Studio 4 Eyes manages to get a table in the Indie Tiangge, but even if we don’t, I promise there will be updates again starting March! I just need to recover from sneezing and coughing my lungs out. (シ_ _)シ

Since I am seeing a lot of money spending in my near future, I’ve been working on a bunch of commissions as well as taking some additional hours in work to get to my financial goal. (* >ω<) I’m extremely happy I got to draw Rurik Demyan again…
…but he doesn’t look very happy to see me. (,,#ﾟДﾟ)
Kidding aside, however, overworking also means my health has been not been at its best. I think I may have sore throat thanks to the smokers outside CBTL. (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ I’ll talk about that tomorrow though… that deserves a special post! ψ(｀∇´)ψ

It’s for my secret santa (or secret baby?)! (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) ♫･*:.｡. .｡.:*･ We’re not suppose to show our works before Christmas, but I think this screenshot doesn’t really reveal anything. I gave him some different clothes too, so there’s no way anyone can tell who this is.（⌒▽⌒ゞ
But for something that I will post on Christmas day, s/he looks so gloomy. (,,#ﾟДﾟ)
This was supposed to be for the 100th like on my Facebook page, but I couldn’t really decide what to draw! (*≧m≦*) I ended up cropping one of the panels for future pages and changing the dialogue for the commemoration. (≧▼≦；)

Currently working on this for the cover of the concluding half of Karma on Oh No! Manga.
(｡･ω･｡) I’m thinking about using the same “prayer” as the first cover for this or if I should add a new one, but my creative juices are all dried up thanks to this deadly deadline. ٩(×̯×)۶
