Meme: 5 Day Art Challenge (Day 3)

For the third day, I decided to choose a bunch of my OTPs (One True Pairs) from various fandoms. I apologize in advance if the pairings are strange and weird, but yeah, I guess I’m a little weird…

Kurama / Minamino Shuichi x Kitajima Maya (Yu Yu Hakusho) – Back in high school, I was upset how many people called Kurama “gay” and they weren’t even anime fans. I was happy to find out that canonically, Kurama once had a girl he liked! I’m forever defending that Kurama is straight despite having long hair and getting a girl’s voice in his Tagalog dubbing by mistake!

Hiiragi Keiichi x Kurumi Nui (Onegai My Melody) – After working for Sanrio, I got into “Onegai My Melody” for a time, and started shipping these two to the point of obsession. They were the reason I got into role-playing for a few years, and I got to meet a bunch of fantabulous people! Mallory will forever be my Hiiragi, that much I’m certain of.

Kuran Kaname x Kuran Yuuki (Vampire Knight) – I get it, I get it, they are practically grandfather x granddaughter, but heck, Kaname deserves some happiness after all the sacrifice he’s made. And Zero is too emotional for my tastes, so yeah… But I’m not getting into the VK fandom ever again since the fans are way too crazy in bashing one another.

Zero x Iris (Megaman X4) – Probably the first Megaman series I ever got into thanks to the anime cut scenes. It was the first time I ever saw a female robot in the franchise, and I loved using Zero and his close combat techniques better than Megaman. You have no idea how much my heart broke when I had to kill Iris…

Kurumi Nui x Agatsuma Soubi (Onegai My Melody x Loveless) – Ok, this is probably the weirdest pairing yet, seeing how Soubi is a pedo, but… pairing him with Kurumi seemed better than Ritsuka and, since Kurumi looks a lot like Ritsuka, I thought he’d consider it..?

Now I’m going to bury myself in paperwork so that I won’t feel too embarrassed, ok? See you tomorrow!

Forever Alone

I'm not sure if it's because of the weather, the stuff that’s been going on at home, my classmates getting married and having babies all at the same time… But…

It’s probably really because Dai, a dear friend of mine is going to write me a little fan fiction about Soubi and Kuromi. xD;;;

I’ve been meaning to experiment with this style for a long time! You know, how they leave the clothing in silhouette but detail the hair and skin? That, plus the use of other colors for shading. I’ve tried it before but I don’t think I ever came up with anything that came out this nicely. x3

Purple looks so good on Soubi. And it means mystery, right? Or spiritual, I don't know...

Of course, he’s lonely, so I had to add blue… because you feel blue when you’re lonely. xDDD Ahahaha, so corny, I’m so sorry!!!

Then again, maybe I’m just being emo about a lot of things, ahaha~ Either way, enjoy the fan art! These won’t last when I start working again.

By the way… I think there was an official illustration that was something like this..? I seem to recall an image that was somewhat like this, but it had… bandages? I really can’t remember! If anyone knows what I’m talking about, post it in the comments or something. :D

More Mist Characters~

...well, aren't they an interesting looking bunch? xD;;;

I think the two characters on the left are my favorites so far? For one thing, I really like glasses, so Count East is a definite favorite. Drawing Countess North reminds me of drawing Yuuko from xxxHolic, who is also a favorite character of mine.

People probably think I’m on a roll considering how active the site’s been lately, but… that couldn’t be further from the truth! I’m way behind schedule with the 2 webcomics, not to mention I need to finish an update for this week!

I need an assistant… Like how Hanabi-san asked Soubi to help her with her doujin. If only Soubi was real…

Love is Sweet

This is a long overdue artwork I wanted to make for Dai. She gave me a pair of butterfly earrings last Christmas, and I wanted to at least draw her something… because I’m currently broke at the moment. ;_;

If you’re a fan of the Ritsuka x Soubi pairing in Loveless, then please think of this as Ritsuka with long hair, or Ritsuka female version or something like that. ;_; Just don’t kill me please.

When she realized she still had his number, and that it somehow connected despite being in different worlds, her heart skipped a beat. What could she tell him? What would he say to her?

Well, I don't really know. But I think Kuromi misses Soubi, and the same with him. ^^;

I'm sorry if the pairing is weird! But I really like how these two react to one another. Please don't mind my fangirliness... This is just eyecandy for myself. *^_^*

CrossOver: Rozen's Sacrifice

Rozen's Fighter is Kuromi as its Sacrifice is Hiiragi Keiichi. He is the same aristocratic boy that he is in Onegai My Melody, but when he crossed over to the world of Loveless, he finds Soubi unforgivable for serving two masters and wants him dead. He thinks Soubi could have done something to prevent Seimei's "death" if Soubi was a better fighter.

CrossOver: Sleepy

When the opportunity came to cross worlds in the City, Kuromi crossed over to the world of Loveless and became the fighter of Rozen. It's a bit confusing to me why she is the fighter and Hiiragi is the sacrifice though.

Her "true name" is on her ankle. It's a bit hard to see in this resolution though.

CrossOver: Cat Ears

 

This is what happens when Kuromi goes into the world of Loveless:

CrossOver: Without Trust

Hiiragi does not trust Soubi, and Soubi is amused that he is so angry with him. It's a good thing they don't bump into each other very often.

I love how they have almost the same coat in different colors... It's somewhat symbolic as to how Kuromi likes the two of them in different ways. ^_^;;;

CrossOver: Here With You

There was a time when everyone began to leave Soubi one by one. He was afraid that he was destined to be alone, as the event reminded him that he was a blank fighter and that he was also left by his previous master. Kuromi assured him, just as he assured her, that she would never leave him as long as she is able to.

CrossOver: Lying Obedience

There was a time in Kuromi's City Life that she was cursed into tasting like chocolate covered strawberry ice cream. This happened when she was talking to Soubi late into the night, and when she noticed she tasted sweet, Soubi gave her a kiss to determine her "flavor".

Soubi then convinced her to taste him as well. She didn't want to at first, because she knew Hiiragi would get upset. She was surprised, however, that Soubi tasted like pudding.

CrossOver: Onegai Loveless

"You won't leave me too, would you?"

Soubi held her close and answered her like it was that most serious thing in the world...
"Of course not."
