Celebrating Otoya's Birthday from Maji Love Legend Star!

UtaPri's 6th Live performance ended yesterday, and I was feeling sad about not being able to go... Not that I eould be able to enjoy a Japanese concert without understanding Japanese in the first place, haha! But my love for Otoya is getting borderline obsessive!

Some of you have probably already seen this sketch on my Facebook or Instagram, but I decided to try and color it on my PC. It turned out really well, considering I didn't ink it digitally~! (^^*) I like how the pencil sketches and shading is still visible underneath the colors! I shpuld make these more often!

Gijinka #4: McDonald's "Ron"

I think Ron might just be my best gijinka yet. This came out better that I thought it could, even though I had to stop myself from continuously adjusting all the small things..!

You might notice that this one is slightly more than a half body portrait, because I wanted to show off his tummy (or lack thereof) a tiny bit... mm-hm~ I'm lovin' it~ (*q*;;')

Some facts about Ron:

• also named "Ronald" but prefers to be called "Ron"
• can eat all the burgers and fries he wants but never gains a pound
• actually enjoys running a lot, which accounts for his strong metabolism
• doesn't like his unruly hair, thus keeping it long enough to be tied into a half pony
• wishes Kei would lighten up
• thinks Joey is like an annoying little brother who won't stop following him
• sometimes looks up to said annoying little brother

I was thinking about keeping his shirt white with red stripes like in my original design, but when I accidentally inverted the color of the white layer, I realized how good black looks when compared to white. It made the white version look like pajamas worn under an inexpensive suit!

Gijinka #3: Kentucky Fried Chicken "Kei"

I gave Kei a bit of an update from his original design. He looks bored with my shenanigans though, and I feel a little, teeny bit sorry for him! But he seems to have a lot of fans, so I thought I should draw him again while I think of designs for the other cafes!

Here are some facts about Kei:

• snobby, but responsible rich kid
• idolized his great-grandfather, Colonel Sanders
• really hates socializing, despite his popularity
• is so, completely, done with Ron and Joey's rivalry
• makes the weirdest chicken menus on the planet
• does not care if you think cheese-top burgers and chicken sisig are weird
• actually, he doesn't care what you think, period

ILUP: A Quiet Morning

I don't know about you guys, but I like the feeling of having my hair brushed. My sisters and I used to do that, and we get to talk about anything under the sun. (^^*)

That's the main reason why Hoy Ikaw is smiling in this illustration... It may seem off character for him, but even he would relax if his hair was being brushed~

It makes me wonder what they are talking about though..! Preston does not looks happy! (>—<;;*)

I had thought about drawing my characters this way after I saw a screenshot from Yuri On Ice's ending theme... But I couldn't decide who to use until I remember Misaki-taichou mentioning that she wanted to comb Hoy Ikaw's hair. (=v=✩)
