2020 Art Summary

2020 was such a challenging year.

I had stopped drawing webtoons altogether because of a personal matter. I thought I could kick myself and get over it in a month's time.

Sadly, that was not the case.

Even sketching was so very challenging this year. My sensei had to wake me up by telling me to sit in front of my PC for an hour each day, even if it meant staring at a blank canvas. I cried so many nights out of sheer frustration, so I was pleasantly surprised (and relieved) at how my Art Summary looks this year.

I will do better in 2021. Even if it means clawing my way back, I'll definitely keep trying!!

Happy holidays, everyone!

#SixFanarts

Finally gonna stop nitpicking on this piece, ahaha! After everyone started upping their game with this meme, I wanted to try making all 6 fan arts into one giant illustration... Kinda like anime posters often seen in the 90's~

And so we have:

• "Classic" Thor (requested by Mark)
• Reinhard von Lohengramm (requested by Pau)
• Sailor V (requested by Michiko)
• Proto Arthur Pendragon (requested by YumYum)
• Dimitri von Blaiddyd (requested by Shiawase)
• Sanji (requested by Niño)

Thank you everyone for granting my request for an all blond edition of this meme! Now... I will go back to cooking more food, because this quarantine is making everyone eat a lot. (^^*)

King Arthur and Jeanne d'Arc

I don’t know why I drew these two together… They’re not even from the same Fate series!

I decided to finish this up so I can concentrate on drawing manga again. I’m feeling pretty lost at the moment, so my productivity levels have been MIA for the past 3 months. I think I feel a little better now? I’m not 100% yet, but I’m getting there.

I used photos of clouds and concrete flooring for the background. Lately, I’ve been taking a lot of photos different textures. It’s fun to use your own photos for your artwork~

I’ve also restarted my pixiv account! I’ll be posting mostly fan art there from now on, since original characters don’t really get much attention anyway.

I should be sleeping. Hngh...
