Oh No! Manga Cosplay Camp Aftermath

This post is long overdue, but even if I’m still having chills and fever, I thought I might as well start blogging about Cosplay Camp. (*≧▽≦)ノシ))

To be honest, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. With the exception of having cosplayers bringing our characters to life, everything else was played by ear. For one thing, I didn’t know that we fellow artists/contributors would be the judges for the art contest. It was extremely difficult to judge 70 entries (that was supposed to be only 50 (シ_ _)シ), but we somehow managed to work it out with a little mathematics.

So kids, be sure to pay attention in math class. I know I found it to be very useful that day~

The Unicorn Gundam was amazing! I got to be one of the first few people to see it that day and it was overwhelming! What materials they used and how they got it to stand like that, well, your guess is as good as mine! It towered over everything and probably stole the show.

Unfortunately, Indie Sketching Studio became a Commission Sketching Studio. I was actually disappointed, despite all my nervousness, because Ray worked very hard on the flash presentation and we were unable to use it. Maybe we can still use it on the following convention in October?

Oh, and to the person who bought this, haha, thank you. ヽ(;▽;)ノ But uh… I wasn’t able to sign it before you bought it, I apologize. Hope I can sign it for you some day! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ノ

At the end of the day, with barely any food that allowed itself to stay in my stomach, I wanted to draw something for Tracy and Eleniel as a thank you for cosplaying for us. Unfortunately, I only had enough time and energy to draw something for Tracy, so I owe Eleniel a sketch for next time. ~(^з^)-☆

Overall it was quite an experience. (´-ω-`) As overwhelming as all the running around and following up on people went, I’ve never felt so happy. I don’t know why I almost started crying when people were taking Tracy’s pictures, and sure I’m still completely worn out, what with getting wet in the rain and everything, but I was seriously happy. ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

Thank you all for coming to our first event. And yes, I am actually a girl. I’m beginning to wonder why a lot of fans came up to me to ask for autographs and comment, “I really thought you were a guy!”. Is it my art style or my name? (°◇°;)
