Ok, so it's still not a pure sketch since there are modifications all over the place, including the *very* obvious Photoshop brushes... But it turned out alright... For something that's supposed to be a sketch...

Anyway... (´ ▽ `;)

Shuichi's training a much younger Hatanaka in Genkai's temple... this was before he went to the face off Sensui... He used the memory flower to erase those memories so that Hatanaka can live a normal life after Shuichi returned.

And yes I made that all up. (≧▽≦)

Everything is done freehand with an HB Mongol number 1 pencil on my sketch pad... Then scanned and cleaned and slightly colored in Photoshop~ (*´︶`*)╯♡

Uhm... (´ー` )

It started as a sketch... Then after I scanned it and played with it... it looked... inked... So I figured... Might as well... ugh... ヽ(　￣д￣)ノ

Very very rushed colors... I did promise a sketch only... But er...

Ah, you guys be the judge... (≧▽≦)o

I'm overall happy with how this came out... Although I think there's something wrong with Sanzo's hair... I was too lazy to correct it though...

Did I make him look Japanese? (*´▽`*) He's suppose to be a Chinese Monk..!

Oh, the Chinese characters mean "Live your life the way you are". It was translated to Chinese by Tiffy's friend... (whose name I forget because I was working on this in the wee hours of early morn) ｡ﾟ( ﾟ^∀^ﾟ)ﾟ｡ I believe that's what Sanzo always says, though I can't remember the entire phrase... (*/ω＼) If someone would be so kind as to post it, it'll make me a very happy bee... (´ ∀ ` *)
