KARMA: An Angel Watches Over You

A series of unfortunate events have been coming my way lately… So much so that I’ve hardly been able to draw much, if at all.

Now that I finally have a bit of spare time, I decided to practice on some coloring before I get back to work.

In the 2nd part of KARMA: Chapter 3, Dominic looked on as Jeremy prayed quietly for Lily as he sat in the waiting area. This is the close up panel of Dominic from that scene. I wanted to show how angels would look out for each other’s “assignments” whenever they’re close by. Dominic didn’t know that Jeremy was praying about his charge, Lily, but that didn’t matter, he still checked up on him anyway.

I’d like to say Dominic hesitated in leaving the distraught Jeremy alone, but I don’t think this no-nonsense angel cold really be bothered to hesitate on anything. Hehehe~!

It makes me wonder though… Can angels hear our conversations with God? Does God let them “listen in” whenever it’s important? I’d like to think they’re private conversations, but I can’t really say for sure. Maybe God relays the message on a need-to-know basis? Hm…

More cute fan art from Honey Den aka DarkMotives! 〜(^∇^〜)

I really love this piece very much. This is actually the second version, because the first one Honey drew met with a little accident! (;*△*;) It made me so sad, but at the same time, this one made me so happy! ヾ(*´∇`)ﾉ

As an exchange, Honey asked me, Enjelicious, and Jeff Nice to pose the same way she drew our characters. We were happy to oblige, although I could have sworn Jeff was a little confused as to why Honey asked us to pose this way. (*≧▽≦)ﾉｼ)) I don’t think he saw this fan art until after we took a photo together.

Here is our photo if you’re curious. Don’t mind our tired faces, we didn’t get much sleep the night before the event. o(TωT;o)

Thanks again, Honey! ☆ﾐ(o*･ω･)ﾉ

Gift: Oh No~! Darky is Sick!!

It’s fan art friday! ☆* o(≧▽≦)o *☆

Darkmotives has given me a ton of fan art, but it seems I’ve forgotten to post them here! This is one of my favorites from her – it features Jeremy from Crystal Shadows as a doctor! Ooh~ I’d probably have a nosebleed too if he were my physician, teehee! (ノ￣ω￣)ノ

Thank you so much, Darky! I’ll definitely be featuring this in the next installment of KARMA! Please check out her original post on Deviant Art! (* >ω<)

Harukanaru Fan Art Sketch

Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I go back to basics and doodle something in traditional form. You just can’t beat the feel of an actual paper-and-pencil sketch! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ It relaxes me and reminds me why I choose this line of work from all else.

Harukanaru Toki no Naka de – Yasuaki, Minamoto no Yorihisa, and Shikigami

I had references from the manga in drawing Yasuaki and his Shikigami, but as for Yorihisa, there were a lot of leaves in his space, so I sketched his pose before looking through a few panels for his hairstyle and clothing. o(≧ε≦o) You could say this is my favorite character ranking? I like Yasuaki a lot, but Yorihisa and Shikigami are both in 2nd place. Shikigami only appeared in volume 17, but I really like his design and personality! And the fact that he can turn into a white fox is a plus too! (*´▽｀*)

I really like how the mangaka draws eyes and hair in this series, so I’m studying them by redrawing the characters in my planner. I hope I can finish all seven soon so I can scan it properly! But for now, this will have to do! ヾ(｡･ω･｡)
