A series of unfortunate events have been coming my way lately… So much so that I’ve hardly been able to draw much, if at all.
Now that I finally have a bit of spare time, I decided to practice on some coloring before I get back to work.
In the 2nd part of KARMA: Chapter 3, Dominic looked on as Jeremy prayed quietly for Lily as he sat in the waiting area. This is the close up panel of Dominic from that scene. I wanted to show how angels would look out for each other’s “assignments” whenever they’re close by. Dominic didn’t know that Jeremy was praying about his charge, Lily, but that didn’t matter, he still checked up on him anyway.
I’d like to say Dominic hesitated in leaving the distraught Jeremy alone, but I don’t think this no-nonsense angel cold really be bothered to hesitate on anything. Hehehe~!
It makes me wonder though… Can angels hear our conversations with God? Does God let them “listen in” whenever it’s important? I’d like to think they’re private conversations, but I can’t really say for sure. Maybe God relays the message on a need-to-know basis? Hm…
